Wastewater and storm water collection/management infrastructure in old cities is one of the most challenging problems to solve in civil engineering. The bigger and older the city is, the harder the problem is to solve (e.g. NYC, Boston, Quebec, London, Paris).

I wish someone had the smarts and ball to demand accountability in el paso tx. We had same thing happen here affecting us, NMAnd Mexico. The Rio Grande, people's homes, farmland. Absolutely disgusting. Promises to pump out the homes flooded by this weekend infrastructure. But never came. Took weeks to replace everything. They're still not done. 2 yrs later. There's been several more breaks all around the city. The government here... corrupt to the marrow of the bone.

I’ve lived in the DC area for 35 years and the Potomac has been a disaster that whole time. Whatever water sport you wanted to enjoy on it you better be damn good at bc no one wants a surprise dunking. 🤮

Ignorant and hateful comment. Maybe you should ask for his help instead since he created the Riverkeeper organization and helped clean up the Hudson River in NY.

Has Trump been going over there and emptying his diapers in the Potomac?

I mean GET UP AND GO PEACEFULLY PROTEST because you KNOW THIS ADMINISTRATION IS GONNA take this information and then go write some executive orders, and the poison the Pooptomac even more. How can people actually even ONE vote for this tyrant.

We need to rethink the entire model. Mixing two valuable things, making them both toxic isn't the correct model, obviously.

My father had two tours of duty at Camp Lejuene. My Mom had breast cancer, lung cancer, and ended up losing her fight against glioblastomas in the brain at age 68 years. She loved tea and I think that is why she suffered from all those types of cancers. I am grateful I was addicted to Coca Cola as a youth. Unfortunately, I did shower and brush my teeth in that contaminated water. I am vigilant for any cancer signs. No- one should be exposed to water that poisons them. Yet our government gets away with it. I can only wonder how many military connected people or military veterans succumbed to cancer from drinking Camp Lejeune poisoned water and never knew.

Could you sustain what these families are and have gone through????

Remember Erin Brokovich?

I’m up against this same situation in DAYTON, LIBERTY COUNTY, TEXAS 200 families on 55 acres with an Oil Spill and in some areas as deep as 3 ft pure raw oil. The RRC said, “oh this is normal!”

They the TCEQ All lied under Oath in a Court of Law!

Two infants died many children have had open leisions families with a Rash over their bodies, Agriculture animals dead.

I can go on, the Courts and local Authorities are all CROOKED there’s been Corruption, Collusion with Impunity!

My story has been covered by News media KPRC CHNL 2 and Media has been told to Bury the Story, No Longer give Any coverage or the Journalist would be FIRED! UNIVISION TV Covered the Story!

So much for Compliance sustainability integrity! We have a Solution Amcor Sorbe!

The amount of Garbage going into the oceans globally is Frightening and Frustrating as hell! The Potomac release was what 300 million gallons? That’s bad but the Tijuana River has 50 million daily, over Five years 100 billion gallons of untreated effluent. That’s just a piss in the ocean( pun intended). Look at Asia, India, Africa. 80 percent of the world’s sewage enters our oceans untreated. Industrialized countries every person accounts for 40 to 100 litres per day of sewage/ waste water. EVERY PERSON! Yeeeah you do the math. My head hurts from just thinking about that. But Carbon needs to be taxed right? Should be more like a 💩 Tax! I can’t imagine what all kind of chemicals, drugs residues, you name it that is going in the oceans with all that other filth. Yet people wonder what is turning the frogs gay? 😳
