Wastewater and storm water collection/management infrastructure in old cities is one of the most challenging problems to solve in civil engineering. The bigger and older the city is, the harder the problem is to solve (e.g. NYC, Boston, Quebec, London, Paris).
I wish someone had the smarts and ball to demand accountability in el paso tx. We had same thing happen here affecting us, NMAnd Mexico. The Rio Grande, people's homes, farmland. Absolutely disgusting. Promises to pump out the homes flooded by this weekend infrastructure. But never came. Took weeks to replace everything. They're still not done. 2 yrs later. There's been several more breaks all around the city. The government here... corrupt to the marrow of the bone.
I’ve lived in the DC area for 35 years and the Potomac has been a disaster that whole time. Whatever water sport you wanted to enjoy on it you better be damn good at bc no one wants a surprise dunking. 🤮
Ignorant and hateful comment. Maybe you should ask for his help instead since he created the Riverkeeper organization and helped clean up the Hudson River in NY.
I mean GET UP AND GO PEACEFULLY PROTEST because you KNOW THIS ADMINISTRATION IS GONNA take this information and then go write some executive orders, and the poison the Pooptomac even more. How can people actually even ONE vote for this tyrant.
Sewage. We treat the earth like a garbage can. Further, we need water to drink and live. So throwing crap into rivers flows everywhere. And fish and other life live in rivers too. It's time to get real.

Even worse in Quebec I believe and it was allowed to continue for another 30 yrs by Trudeaus Government! https://www.mtlblog.com/quebec-rivers-are-contaminated-with-sewage-and-wastewater
Time for Kennedy to take a swim like he did last time!

Has Trump been going over there and emptying his diapers in the Potomac?

And this GD Administration is DESTROYING THE EPA! Next is gonna be watching the SMOG again rise in places like Los Angeles from my perch in COLORADO!
My river means peace.
We need to rethink the entire model. Mixing two valuable things, making them both toxic isn't the correct model, obviously.
I wan’t to cry

With Global Warming they are not fine.
If only we had someone with the initials PB in the last admin that was still able to work on the Infastructure bill they passed.
