We've got to simply stop wrapping vegetables in plastic. They sell single potatoes wrapped in plastic. What's the sense in that? Sell potatoes loose and you can buy just one if that's all you need and place it in your reusable bag to take home. If we can outlaw all plastic bags and excessive plastic wrappings on all kinds of foods and products, we'd go a long way to solving this problem. Reduce, reuse, repurpose, recycle!

Sure, all try to think of the Jack Johnson song--reduce, reuse and recycle. We need food--- giant farms and food purveyors are being targeted or taken over by foreign interests. Smithfield Pork is owned by a Chinese firm. Local gardens are very important now. Sustainable family lands for orchards, chickens and vegetables should be pursued-- skip the plastic, just grow something!
