Apart from the Lead plumbing, there is a huge problem with Asbestos shedding from pipes. Create worthwhile jobs and clean up the water supply producing smarter healthier future generations.

If the US government can afford an almost trillion dollar defense budget outlay this year, we can certainly afford $625 billion to fix our crumbling water infrastructure. After all, water is life. Endless wars are just that--endless war and endless death and destruction of our planet. Let's choose water and life.

Yes my husband and I had one put in our home and it made us all sick my husband ended up in the hospital for months and the doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong and didn’t know why part of his small intestines died his heart became a problem he had so many things going wrong he couldn’t keep his vitamins and minerals in his system they had to constantly infuse him. Once you drink that water your body won’t retain any nutrients I decided to research it because I was getting sick and my dog became sick, my husband ultimately died I had the machine removed my dog and I feel better but she has thyroid issues now. My lawyer looked into it and told me I had a case but it would be the first one in the United States and they would keep me tied up in court until I passed away so I had to find another way to let people know about this water it is also called purified water. I read what the World Health Organization said about it and kept researching until I could not go any further because I don’t have a medical degree and I’m not a professional researcher.

If we weren't forced to waste nearly $700B annually just maintaining the interest on our astronomical debt, we could fix this problem. Somehow, when I look at our K- Doctorate education system, I don't believe ensuring Americans have healthy drinking water that doesn't fast track them towards Brawndo being what plants crave, is in the cards. It all feels strangely connected.

Please look at the way the Dutch have organised their watermanagement.

Can explain in detail, but we have a separate semi government responsible for waterways, dykes and drinking water. It has its own budget and raises its own taxes. It organised around the way the rivers flow, so it can span several counties and even states to make sure the one county is not depriving the next downstream from its water supply. Farmers are represented in the board and environmental groups as well. They hold their own elections!

I hate that water is privatised; it’s so wrong. Is there anything anyone can do from abroad? Cuz I’m not in the US.

I’m all for good clean water I will spread the word, I’m concerned that some places will replace the water system with reverse osmosis systems that I can’t support but I will spread the word about this that is the one thing I can best it to inform people about the water they drink and I do my best to educate people about how bad reverse osmosis water is. It’s purified water people don’t know about that information.
