EcoWater's Reverse Osmosis filters for their ERO385 are also certified to remove PFAS/PFOA. Don't forget there are other companies who do manufacture filters that are certified to take out those chemicals. Southlantic.com Ecowater.com

Is Dexsorb corn GMO? And, just how is the PFAS destroyed without creating more harmful pollution?

Hi Nan & to everyone interested... We reached out to Frank at CycloPure and here's what he said:

Good question. To put your mind at ease, there is no glyphosate in DEXSORB. Our adsorbents are not made from corn, but with beta-cyclodextrin, a derivative of plant starch, primarily corn and potato starch. We chose to work with cyclodextrins for their naturally occurring adsorbent cavities which are ideally suited to extraction of small molecule pollutants like PFAS. And, because cyclodextrins are safe and have a long history of use in consumer products. They are FDA approved for use as food additives and for drug delivery of pharmaceutical formulations.

Health and Safety are the focus of our work. Our adsorbents have been tested extensively by independent labs for purity in connection with our drinking water treatment certifications. DEXSORB is also being used to protect the environment by removing PFAS from waste streams to prevent them from entering surface waters or agricultural lands.

Sorry for any confusion caused by our use of images of corn. We use these images to reinforce the renewability and naturally occurring nature of our media.
